Our Teen Martial Arts program at Legacy Martial Arts offers students ages 13–17 a mix of kickboxing, Kempo/Kenpo, and catch wrestling with a special focus on confidence, self-respect, and excellence. Classes blend practical self-defense, fitness training, and positive mentorship, helping high school students develop discipline and friendships. Beginners and experienced teens are both challenged and supported by coaches who care about their growth inside and outside the dojo.
Teens appreciate a space where they feel welcome, respected, and encouraged to achieve more than they thought possible. Our instructors take the time to personally motivate and guide each student, regardless of ability or prior experience. Friendships are quickly built through group challenges, team drills, and social events. Parents see their teens develop a quiet confidence, better discipline, and improved focus in school and life. Many students continue training for years thanks to our positive culture.

Your teen’s first class starts with a welcoming introduction, an orientation to martial arts safety, and a fun, group workout. Every session includes drills, partner work, and a mix of striking and grappling styles personalized for each class. Teens are encouraged to progress at their own pace with support from both coaches and peers. Over time, students experience stronger self-esteem, better stress management, and lasting friendships—making this the perfect martial arts program for teens in San Antonio.
